Long Beach Lodge
This luxury waterfront hotel located in Tofino, BC, is a full-service resort. Located on the beach, the project included guest rooms, guest cabins, a commercial kitchen, multiple food and beverage locations.
As Architect for this project, we were very pleased to help implement the Owner’s thoughtful vision and Broadmead Designs’ sensitive concept by Michael Nixon for this magnificent waterfront site on Cox Bay. Our role was to translate the concept through detailed design drawings to full documentation and construction in constant discussion with the Owner and Michael to ensure continuity.
We were responsible for Building Code compliance, liaison with local authorities, coordination of Engineering consultants, and inspection and administration throughout the construction period.
Long Beach Lodge Resort was featured in Architectural Digest in 2003.
